That’s why with The Kanini Estate’s exclusive membership to the Mauna Lani Sports Club at the Mauna Lani Auberge resort, all house guests have complimentary unlimitted access to reserve up to 4 pickleball courts. And if you’re not already a pickleball pro, all paddles and racquets may be provided free of charge. If you want to join in with other locals and pickleball vacationers, guests may also participate in the many drop-in events, clinics and tournaments the club has to offer or for an additional fee, book lessons with the teaching pros. Just mention this at the time of booking and we’ll gladly provide you with an updated schedule of events.

Once you go to the reservations page, enter the dates you wish to book into the booking widget and hit Get Quote. Enter your contact information and credit card information (your credit card will not be charged at this point and is only used to hold your reservation). Then hit Request to Book.
Our booking team will reach out to you within 24 hours to confirm your reservation and provide our guest agreement for your review and signature. Your credit card will not be charged until our booking team discusses your reservation with you and offers payment options for you to choose from.
Yes. We only require a credit card to hold your reservation. Once you complete your booking, our booking team will contact you and provide payment options such as wire, check, credit card etc. If in doubt or prefer not to provide a credit card, please feel free to contact us prior to booking and we can help you arrange payment.
As with any luxury vacation rental in Waikoloa, The Kanini Estate’s rates vary by season depending on how busy the time of year is. To check rates, please go to the reservations page and enter the dates you wish to travel in the booking widget.
Please note, the rates shown are for a maximum of 14 people. For 15 people or more, we add $100 per person per night + taxes to cover the additional costs associated with larger parties.
Absolutely! The Kanini Estate is a pickleball vacation home for big families, large groups or several couples traveling together. We can comfortably sleep 16 guests in 8 king beds, ensuring everyone has a comfortable stay. Two additional airbeds are also available with advance notice.
For a luxury pickleball vacation home, expect concierge level service. Our arrivals team will contact you prior to your stay to provide specific instructions and answer any questions. Once your plane lands, we kindly request for you to contact our team per your pre-arrival instructions to coordinate your arrival to the house. At this time you’ll receive gate codes, the house address, directions, etc. Our team will ensure your check-in experience is as smooth and quick as possible to get you into vacation mode and ready to experience our luxury vacation rental in Waikoloa the moment you arrive.
Check-in begins at 4pm. Checkout is by 10am. We do our best to accommodate early check-ins and late checkouts when we can however due to other guest reservations we may not be able to accommodate all requests.
Standard Cancellation Policy:
If cancellation notice is received more than ninety days prior to the check-in date, a full refund less processing fees (if any already incurred) will be refunded.
If cancellation notice is received within 90 days of the check-in date, the full booking amount of rent and taxes will be forfeited.
